                                                                                        So pleased when we walked into Josephine’s. Wonderful warm ambiance. Greeted by owner when we walked in. Ariel our waiter was very attentive, met all our needs/wants and more. Great music. Looking forward to going back.

                                                                                        We went here for thanksgiving dinner. There was no indication from the website that it would be a special menu but it was very limited. The first course I had was lasagna. It was basically a plate of cheese and sauce. For an Italian restaurant I would have expected better. I ordered chicken francaise which had mozzarella and red pepper on it. Sounds delicious but it was thick, soggy and very little flavor. I ate 3 bites. All meals came with mashed sweet potatoes and green beans. I don’t care for either. I asked for a side of pasta instead which they would not allow. The waiter cleared the plates and never asked if everything was ok. It was pretty obvious by the food I left behind that it was not okay. The cost was around $65-75 per meal and definitely not worth it. I don’t recommend this restaurant

                                                                                        Excellent, charming upscale Italian. More sophisticated, slightly more “mature” crowd. Lots of tableside conversations going on but not intrusive. Sophisticated, knowledgeable waiter. Food several cuts above the ordinary (definitely not a pizza and beer kind of place). Oh, by the way - really good singer / guitarist. A bit pricy ($220 for 2) but worth it if you can afford. All in all thoroughly enjoyable.

                                                                                        It had been far too long since we’d been to Josephine’s. We were lucky to score a last minute Saturday night reservation and the whole experience was outstanding! Loved the food, the music- the service was great. We’ll be back real soon!

                                                                                        We love coming to listen to music, while eating. Food was delicious, and service by Ariel, was excellent! Only objectiion is that some of the prices have become outrageous! To pay $58 for an entree is insane, especially when you can't substitute a pasta for mashed potatoes, without an "up" charge! Also, I included the "Happy Birthday" in the reservation, which was totally ignored! Otherwise, had a great evening! We also LOVE the bruschetta!

                                                                                        So they have music weekends at least. So affects noise and ambience. But I like a singer. Truth be told she was very good but mike appeared a bit loud. Song choices were strange Sinatra easy music followed by 60s rock and soul. Food was plentiful and very good. Service was spotty at best. We’ll be back.
