   We sat on the heated and covered patio and loved the ambience. The airflow was good so we felt safe, and the temperature was great. We were sat next to the fire which started out too hot, but the server was able to lower the heat and it was perfect. The food was phenomenal and the overall experience is well worth a fancy night out! There was a large party seated near us most of the way through our meal and they made the patio quite loud, but the noise level was very good before then.

   Great food, great service, sitting in the patio was cozy & warm. Lovely evening. We could also hold a conversation while sitting at the table without it being too loud, which was another big positive.

   Joule has a great atmosphere and cute details that make it visually appealing. An open floor plan does mean volume is a little louder but the tables aren’t on top of each other and there is space to move around. We ordered the scallion pancakes, beets, broccoli and rib steak. Each dish had a deep flavor profile that had some spice and was really well done. We also had the paper crane cocktail which was delicious! We also had the sesame mochi cake which was the star of the night. Highly recommend the restaurant for unique dishes!

   I had a birthday dinner with my father at Joule and really enjoyed the experience. Our waitress was wonderful - funny, knowledgeable, and attentive, though she did have to leave before we finished. The scallion pancakes and the chorizo rice cakes were fantastic but the Octopus was pretty tough and the the duck confit was just soso. I also liked my gin-sing cocktail a lot. While the service was very good, we were a little taken aback when our bill included an automatic 22% tip. Not sure if this is a common practice at nice restaurants in Seattle for only two diners (we're out of towners) but it felt a little presumptuous. However, I'd definitely go back for those chewy chorizo rice cakes!

   It's hard to have a bad meal at Joule, where you can safely order anything on the menu and know it will be delicious. Classics like the chorizo rice cakes paired well with new dishes like the roasted asparagus. Cocktails were very tasty as well

    The flavors of our dishes were continually pleasing and surprising, from the first dish through to the desert! The Octopus was especially stunning! 10/10
