We had Christmas Eve dinner here and the service was great , food was fresh and delicious and there was no rush to leave. I mention that because a few other spots had a 90 minute max written in the reservation. I have never had fancy Chinese food before but this was our first experience with it. I will come back again.

We did reservations and they sat us in the front. They didn’t sit us in the main room and the front room was cold.

My boyfriend and I “celebrated”my birthday here last night. The service was monstrously horrible. To say it was slow would be being generous. I think the waiters there hate their jobs; some are pleasant and others aren’t. Some items on the menu aren’t even there and what they offer instead is very poorly executed. I ordered the filet mignon but instead got the “cubed” filet mignon with broccoli. It was ok, I feel like they cooked each item separately and added them all together on the plate because everything had a different temperature when I tasted it. The jerk tacos was very COLD; like it came out of the fridge. Lastly, no one even acknowledged that a Birthday was being celebrated at the table; we waiting over 30 mins for the chocolate lava cake and not even a “happy birthday” was written on the cake. This will be our last time at Jue lan club, it’s not what it used to be. There’s better restaurants like sei Les and Philippe Chow.

A pleasant surprise. The Chinese menu was quite good. The dumplings were excellent, and the two dishes beef and chicken -- Bejing and Kung Pao were very good.

I don’t like I have to keep finding my waitress when I want something. They should be checking in to see if everything is ok and if I need anything. It took a really long time for me to place my order waiting for the waitress to come

Every food item was very good with unique flavors and takes on traditional dishes. Must recommend the chicken lollipops and peking duck spring rolls. The ambiance was well done with cozy tables. Only negative is that they definitely lean on the club vibe and I understand that marketing appeal but it is awkward to sit with my parents listening to loud club dance music.

My husband and I went for date night it was nice for a Thursday night was seated right away . The waiter came took our order and checked on us throughout the entire night . Food was good portion size was good music was great if your into hiphop and rNb alil on the pricy side but overall worth trying atleast once .

I’ve been to Jue lan dozens of times,but last night was not a good experience at all.First off they sat us by the door and had the door open,plus the ac on so it was cold.Granted he turned the ac off,but it was still a chill in the air.The manager stated that the owner was holding tables for DJSELF,therefore we could not sit in the main room,with a reservation while the other party didn’t arrive until at least 30-40 mins after we were seated.Then our waiter was horrible,only came one time after we gestured for him to come.I asked for a cup of ice,and he never brought it over.15 mins go by,finally my brother just goes to the bar to get it for me.We waited almost 30 mins for the check due to him never coming to our table,even after it was cleared off.To top it off,as they have in the past,which I admit I didn’t correct them,even though we were only a party of 3 on two occasions,mainly because the server was good,but they add an automatic 20% gratuity to parties of 4,or more,which we were a group of 3.The manager adjusted the bill saying that the computer system automatically adds it.Thats a problem because your menu,and your website says party of 4,or more.Plus our waiter didn’t deserve a $41 tip.While I was telling the manager about our waiters service he stood there listening to me,which I clearly don’t care because it’s the truth,he sucked his teeth and walked away with a attitude.I’ve always liked Jue lan club,but I won’t be back for a while.The hostess’s have attitude problems as well.If your not a known celebrity,they don’t have great attitudes to be front of the house.Tip though,you never know who someone is,not all wealth is known by the face.Treat people kindly,it goes far.

I recently had the pleasure of trying the POW POW BEEF, and it was absolutely phenomenal. The steak was incredibly tender, melting in your mouth with every bite. The flavor was rich and savory, with just the right balance of seasoning and spices that really elevated the dish. Not only did it taste amazing, but the presentation was spot on. It was plated beautifully, showcasing the care and attention to detail that went into crafting the meal. If you’re a fan of steak or just great food in general, I highly recommend giving this dish a try. It’s a standout that I’ll definitely be coming back for!

Attended for restaurant week. Happy hour options were strong and worth the price (originally $20, happy hour drinks are $10). Food was so good, and filling will definitely come again.

I made reservations for 9pm when I arrived they said they had no tables that I had to wait 40 mins and had to be outside with I reserved inside… it took one hour to get a martini and service was horrible

I had made reservation prior to coming when I arrived I had to wait thirty minutes for a table because it was crowded. The hostess was not Nice about saying it she was rude . The appetizer took so long to come they gave us a free one . I thought I would enjoy it but it was not as upscale as it was supposed to be

We went during restaurant week as well as during the happy hour. The happy hour prices were very fair, drinks were strong & good, food portion was generous and the bartenders were attentive. The dinner restaurant week deal was fantastic - $45 for 3 courses & the portion sizes again was generous. This is normally a pricey restaurant so I Would definitely recommend going during happy hour

I would be concerned with the hostess(Sara) I think, she was very snappy when asked a question short with response and just over all rude. Everything else was great my server was amazing and so was the food. I’ve been here plenty of times and this was the first experience that I’ve had like this not a good look. The sets the tone for customers entering the restaurant.

I tried to rate as considerate as possible however, I am appalled at the management of this restaurant. The food was okay but the music was horrible. Not sure who the manager’s target audience is, but no should be listening to that music while dining in a restaurant within this price range. The profanity! I don’t care that the artists of the music look like me, it’s disgusting. That’s not what we listen to in these settings. Mr Manager has surely heard this before, so I’ve been told.

My party of 3 enjoyed the crispy rock tempura shrimp & chicken satay for the appetizers, we choose the pow wow beef and jasmine rice for the entrees and the chocolate lava cake for dessert. The portions were generous and the taste was 10/10.

Its what you’d come to expect from your average asian NYC eatery , its decent . what i would say is the food is mid , honestly our order was overly salty . Drinks were ok . I don’t know if id come back though and the automatic 20% gratuity is wild. I should determine wether or not i want to tip and how much .

Always soo good here such a vibe. Only complaint would be to course out the food a bit. I feel like the dishes were just coming one after another and we didn’t have room on the table

So disappointing, and not worth the money. When we arrived we waited for over 3 minutes for someone to greet us and seat us. The restaurant advertised is not the same restaurant I went to. In order to get to the room that is advertised you have to walk through a dark dining room and then you are brought to the main dining room. While it is pretty the music was so loud and vulgar. Every other word was the N word or the F word. The music was so loud you can't hear the people you are with. We had our table moved thinking it would help but it didn't. Then the food was not good at all. We ordered chicken satay and it was like chicken covered in cheese. We later found out it was peanut sauce...the food did not taste good at all. The drinks were not good either. So disappointing, we barely finished our food we just wanted to leave. This restaurant seems to be more of a night club vibe then a nice quiet restaurant. It is definitely not child friendly. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant. While our waiter was very nice, he did take it add his own tip to the bill which seems a bit strange. Again I can't stress how disappointing this experience was.

I absolutely recommend Jue Lan Club! I went during NYC restaurant week and it is absolutely worth it. The service was so quick, drinks were made with perfection, and all of the food was terrific. The flavor palates across the different dishes were diverse and high level. The only thing is the music was a little loud, but the song selection was great. I would recommend this to anyone and i will definitely be returning with more or my friends or for a date night!

Well this is my second time going here and it never disappoints. We enjoy our restaurant week lunch special and it was amazing. The atmosphere was great and chill. The waiter was very attentive to us making sure we was doing good. Overall 10/10

We went for the pre-fixed menu (SRW). APPETIZER: Crisp fried chicken wonton on sweet chili sauce, AMAZING! Our waiter, the only one resembling Asian, was the best! Nice place. We remember the club times... Recommend it.
