SPIRITED DINING AND DRINKS IN SANTA FE

In 1882, Abraham Staab, a European immigrant who became one of Santa Fe’s most prosperous merchants, built a Victorian mansion on property that now belongs to La Posada. Abraham’s elegant wife, Julia, entertained local society and visiting dignitaries in incomparable style. Legend has it that Julia so loved her home that she has never left it.

Today, we celebrate Julia Staab as our muse and honor her name and legendary hospitality with the opening of Julia, A Spirited Restaurant & Bar. The restaurant features innovative, locally sourced dishes as well as an extensive selection of fine wines and spirits.

Never written a review before. The service was unfortunately not what you would expect paying these prices for brunch. My wife got the duck in a salad and first it was way more than most giants could eat and secondly the duck was simply awful. I had pancakes which was good and my daughter and son in law split a sandwich and fries which was good. I tried the duck and it was the worst dish we have had in a while. Think the management would have caught the hint when only one of the two eggs got eaten and almost none of the rest of the dish was eaten. Only way to salvage this would have been to comp it.

We had an incredible Thanksgiving food experience!!! The quality was beyond our expectations—everything was delicious, and the staff and manager truly stood out. We were pleasantly surprised by how attentive and friendly the entire team was. Exceptional service, amazing food—easily a 5 star experience!

First time inside the restaurant, beautiful place! Food was excellent, portions very generous! Service very friendly, very clean. Good place for dinning!

Stopped by for a quick dinner. Daily special pasta was delicious. Attractive room, quiet atmosphere. Pleasant and attentive staff. Overall very good experience.

The service and ambience was perfect. The food was excellent, loved their “warm” salad and the veal dish was beautifully presented and delicious.
