Killen’s Steakhouse enforces a strict business casual dress code. We do not allow beachwear, cut off shorts, flip flops, gym attire including sweatpants, sweatshirts or hoodies. Athletic apparel, jerseys, hats, beanies, bandanas, ball caps, oversized or baggy clothing, tank tops, and sleeveless shirts are prohibited. No excessively revealing clothing will be allowed.

Certified Executive Chef Ronnie Killen has returned to his home town after training at Le Cordon Bleu and honing his culinary skills throughout the U.S. Our hand-cut steaks are cooked to perfection on a state of the art infrared broiling system that seals in the natural juices of the steak, creating a one of a kind “melt in your mouth” experience. All of our food is prepared fresh daily, using only the finest produce and freshest ingredients. Even our sinfully rich desserts are homemade and the only thing frozen in our kitchen is the ice cream! Come in and see what the whole country is talking about!

                                                                                          Honestly, I am still processing what happened to our family last evening. Despite the restaurant posting a strict dress code, two men wearing football jerseys were seated next to us in an otherwise empty room. They were extremely loud and streamed a football game on their phones with the volume at the highest level. They cussed loudly in front of the young people at our table. At one point, one of the men told the waiter the special lobster Mac and cheese tasted like sh**. Our waiter engaged with these men and ignored our table. At one point, my husband grew weary of waiting for a drink and went to the bar to order. The men continued to cuss and even dance at their table. We were unable to carry on a conversation at our table. We are so disappointed in our experience. We have had prior wonderful experiences at the establishment, but this the second time in a row we have had poor service. I will mention that every time we are seated in the wine room, we do not experience the same level of service as we do when seated in main room. Even though we enjoy the food, we discussed that we not return. There are too many other fine restaurants that can deliver wonderful service and quality food. I feel this all could have been avoided by seated the rowdy and inebriated diners in the bar area especially since they were not adhering to the posted dress code.

                                                                                          Great service, but slower than you’re probably expecting. Food was good, but my wife’s fish was undercooked in the center. They brought us another to take home when the waitress saw it. Crab cakes were delicious.

                                                                                          Aja was wonderful! Did an amazing job of describing all cuts of beef. Lobster bisque was the BEST I’ve ever had!!! Great birthday dinner!

                                                                                          Really loved all my food. I had a glass of Syrah, Filet Mignon, potatoes, Brussels sprouts and our bread pudding was outstanding!

                                                                                          Our server really was the issue He had a hard time attending to our table, never bringing the wine list from the beginning, We proceeded to ask for it twice. He took a long while to take our order and struggled to follow request. In the very beginning he offered 2 types of bread; a cranberry and sourdough. I asked does the cranberry have nuts and he said yes so i quickly responded no cranberries please as we have nut allergies. He obliged. We then asked about the other dishes having nuts and he did not know about the salad and then confidently said no the carrot cake did not. We ordered the carrot cake and it had my top 2 allergies in it, Pecans and coconut. Immediately stopped eating it looked for him he could not be found or we could not get the managers attention who was wearing his backpack waving goodbye to his staff for the night playing around. Finally an assistant came by to let us know. Thankfully my allergy is not deathly but I’ve been dealing with an itchy mouth for the past 8 hours now. For such a high end steak house this really shouldn’t have happened and it definitely was not worth due to his lack of service.

                                                                                          Service is always outstanding! Food is usually great but for NYE I was extremely disappointed in the food. I had the filet medium rare, my partner had the ribeye medium well and both were very dry. I’ve never had a filet medium rare served to me dry! My server noticed my disappointment and insisted on bringing me another but it was getting late and I did not want to wait for a replacement. Not sure if the kitchen was overwhelmed, understaffed or rushing, but for the $115 price per person, I will not be returning for another NYE dinner
