   Wish it was noted that the restaurant was in the Hilton. We would have chosen a different restaurant.

   Christmas in Old Alexandria with my family. Large group so options were limited. We found ourselves here and based on previous reviews we thought it would be good but we were underwhelmed. Seems like the consistent feedback from my group is that everything was almost good, but nothing hit the spot. Lacked seasoning, lacked a finishing touch, etc.; nothing special. Definitely won’t return. Very attentive server. Manager attentive. But it was Christmas Day so we appreciated having an option. We were starving and left full. Sometimes that has to be enough.

   Nice place to eat. We didn't have the pleasure of eating lunch or dinner there, but we were well pleased with breakfast two days.

   First time here and had a great experience. The restaurant supervisor was our server, and he handled our large party with ease. Truly a joy. The food was pretty great. The table ordered a good variety of dishes and everyone had very positive things to say. Dishes are reasonably priced, especially for OldTown and being in a hotel. Definitely a hidden gem. Only downside is parking, but that is literally every restaurant in Old Town.

   This was a dining experience where one thing clouded the entire experience. At the conclusion of our meal for four, I included our parking ticket to be validated along with payment. The waiter returned to say that they didn’t do so. This was shocking that this is a hotel restaurant that wants to pull in customers off of the street, and sits atop the hotel garage. So shortsighted, and so unwelcoming.

    Not coming from the hotel, we made reservations as suggested online. When we arrived, there was no one at the reception stand to help seat us. We were not sure we were in the right location because the restaurant was empty. We had to go around the hotel lobby looking for an employee to help us. We finally ended up in the kitchen where a cook to us back where started and told us to sit anywhere. She then went to find a waitress for us. We watch other people arrive and go through the same experience. The restaurant is an open space next to the bar and nothing fancy, but the food was very good. I imagine they lose a lot of business simply due to neglect.
