Established in 1999, King’s Fish House is Calabasas’ choice for seafood. Located at The Commons off Calabasas Rd., King’s Fish House features a large selection of oysters, seasonal catches, sushi and live shellfish, including lobster and crab, on a menu that changes daily.

We’ve been in restaurants a little while – three generations, to be precise. A long time ago, we embarked on a road trip in search of the ultimate seafood experience. We traveled down highways and byways, pulled up a seat, put on bibs and soaked up the seafood experience: the no-name dishes with unforgettable flavor, the fresh-caught oysters and clams piled high, the hand-lettered specials on ancient chalkboards and the savory simmer of every combination of spices imaginable.

I ordered you whole crab, 50,00. It was not cooked well, and it had no sides. So I ordered a side of mash potatoes, for additional 8.00. Wife ordered salmon for 22.00. We have eaten their many times in the past. This tile it wasn’t good.

Great spot very fresh seafood. Cocktails were on point and our server Javier was excellent.

My husband and I have been dining at Kings Calabasas for many years. Most of those years were excellent with menu items like the Muscle appetizer and generous portions of sides to accompany the entrees. Lately, I’ve noticed those side dishes have been Shrink-flatted. Not only are the vegetable portions smaller but the once creamy Garlic Mashed Potatoes are now scooped on the plate, barely lukewarm. Disappointing!
