    We were the first people in the restaurant and somehow many other tables got their food long before we did. We had edamame, sea bass sliders and a basic salad and a cup of coffee. The food was decent but nothing outstanding.

    The overall experience has gone down hill. I've gone several times but this last Sunday we had 9 people, the food came out at different times and wasn't as good as it used to be. Service was slow although our waiter was nice. We were celebrating a birthday, the waiter didn't even acknowledge it. Probably will not be going back there again unfortunately. Wish we would have gone somewhere else to be honest.

    Sat at the bar by myself. Another party sat after me and was served first, I wasn’t in a hurry so I didn’t mind but as the meal progressed and the service lacked further and further, it became problematic. My steak and salad came out at the same time- the server offers to hold the steak for me but told me it would become overcooked under heat, so I took both. The steak was ordered medium rare and arrived a medium well- I was not checked on or asked how it was at any point. Overall, the bartender was nice but neglected every other aspect of his job, not even having a wine tool to open a bottle for me so another variety was offered. I will not be returning.

    We were immediately seated since we had a reservation. We were sitting at our table for 10 minutes and never had a server come to check in on us. We almost thought we got assigned in the wrong spot. A server went to a table right next to us that was seated after us. So we flagged another server down and she said our server would be over. It ended up being the same server that went to the other table. While this was a rocky start we continued on and ordered appetizers. We ordered a sushi roll and their sea bass sliders. The sliders were amazing, but when the sushi was served first there were no plates. We weren’t given silverware or napkins only chopsticks. The server handed us the soy sauce trays and we had no soy sauce so I grabbed one off another table. After finishing our appetizers we ordered a chocolate cake and asked for little plates and napkins since it made it difficult to eat our appetizers without making a mess. Our dessert arrived and it was great but a different server aggressively came over to our table and dropped off plates and our silverware (which at that point) it was too late. The oddest restaurant experience where it felt like we were being “annoying” to them for asking for plates, silverware, and napkins? When we left we used the vallet service and the vallet parked our car so poorly pulling up that we were blocking the two vallet lanes. Overall a really horrible experience which is a shame since the food was very good.

    Menu changed for Valentine’s Day not a good ideal I think the food was rushed.Never had a 50 dollar steak so tough so disappointed.Service was great food was a big disappointment

    It was ok, food took forever, drinks took forever had to send last drink back by time they came out our party was ready to leave.

    This review is based on visiting Valentine's Day. The noise level was very high and it was difficult to hear any conversations. The menu selection was limited and they did not have bread. The wine list was limited as well. Service was OK but not stellar. I probably will not go back to this restaurant.

    Good was great, a little put off as I asked for appetizers to come first. Ordered drinks. But my main entree came out before my appetizer and drink. A little bizarre. Food was great, server was good. Just didn’t live up to expectations of what I thought Kona Grill was going to be. Table was wobbly. A lot of minor details that shouldn’t be minor details from such establishment
