The Krebs is an historic restaurant founded in 1899 by Fred and Cora Krebs. The restaurant has been a popular landmark in Skaneateles for over a century, serving presidents, dignitaries and celebrities. The Krebs was re-opened after undergoing a complete renovation while carefully preserving the history and ambiance that visitors have grown accustomed to. The restaurant is a farm to table concept that utilizes the freshest hand selected local ingredients and the highest quality meats and seafood. All profits from the restaurant are donated to local women and children's charities of Central New York.

                                                          Second trip to this Fabulous Skaneatlas Lake Fine restaurant! Service is outstanding and food is exquisite. Jack at the Bar served high end cocktails with Flair and our server Antonio was above and beyond with paying attention to details! We felt like we were Family. Definitely would recommend going for any occasion. Well worth the trip. Cheers!

                                                          The design is excellent and makes for a lovely evening. Maybe there were too many waitstaff?? Almost a little chaotic with so many people moving around the room. And while the food was outstanding, the prices were very high and the portions really small. Example was the scallop entree, 3/4 of the plate was empty/$42. The short rib dish included exactly 1 small short rib/$38. While we had a good meal, our waiter was goofy and we left hungry after $180 before tip. Went home and got out some cheese and crackers. Not sure we’ll do that again soon.

                                                          our server, Antonio did a wonderful job. Very personal, and professional. Blueberry/Apple muffin was a great start to Brunch. I specifically asked for my Omelette cooked "Soft, or easy" and it wasn't even close. I may just need to stop ordering them. Everyone else was very happy. Crepe was great !

                                                          Had a great experience at The Krebs! The short rib is something else, and the grilled brussel sprouts were delicious. Top it off with some pretty great cocktails and you've got one nice anniversary dinner! Well done!

                                                          It was the most disappointing dinner I've had in a long time. The charcuterie was good. The Ginger 75, an NA cocktail was good but we waited a looooong time to get it. $9 for an NA cocktail is too much. Our main courses were disappointing. Three of us got burgers. Two of them were dried out and burnt (not a nice char!) when they were ordered medium rare! The chicken a l'orange was a joke. It was not a "hen." It was 4 chicken wings in a bland orange sauce. We. didn't bother with dessert. I was quite upset since we invited some friends as guests of ours. Get your act together in the kitchen! I won't be going back for some time. Quite frankly, I din't want to try Hidden Fish either since its owned by the same owner, which was something that interested me prior to our visit to The Krebs.
