Wow! We love this restaurant and occasion it frequently — both dine in and take out. Usually superb food and service, except yesterday. Unfortunately, after convincing friends to join us to share in this gem, our reservation landed us the worst table in the restaurant (as close to being sat behind a curtain in the kitchen as possible), and with many of the restaurants top brunch items being sold out: No Bloody Mary mix, no quiche, barely a bit of cheese on our onion soups (had to fish for it), barely a bit of cheese in our crepes, no ice tea, etc. How can a French restaurant known for its quiche run out of it, as well as needing to ration their cheese boggles me. If we weren’t entertaining guests, would have made a fuss and sent all items back. Couldn’t have been more disappointed.

Belle Epoque is our favorite local restaurant, with a cozy atmosphere, excellent bar and friendly wait staff. Their mussels are the best!

Loooved the dark room, music and volume in the room. For a small space I thought it would be deafening. The seafood risotto was too die for. Scallops were slightly rubbery and on the verge of too salty, but goodish. Escargot was delicious with an added hit of salt, plus it was a healthy portion. The worst thing we ate was the onion soup. Don’t get it. It’s not the overflowing Swiss bubble cheese version. The broth was thick and tasted like gravy with one tiny piece of cheese. It was a bummer for the cold night, but overall we’d go back and I recommend!

This was our 4th year dining on New Year’s Eve. Everything about our experience was amazing, from cocktails to dessert, we all enjoyed ourselves immensely!

Tables too close together. Very dark and difficult to read the menu print without a flashlight. The salad was lacking ingredients and dressing. Too much lettuce. Entrees were just okay. Lots of good reviews but we found it just okay. Probably won’t be back.

Crepes were a fan favorite. Had the soups. Both worth it. Try the lavender (gin) cocktail. Definitely going back. Enough options we’ll take teenagers back with us.
