The LA CAVA concept is based on Armando's roots. Born and raised in Florence, he grew up learning that as a local, one would go dining in the little Osterias where everything was made fresh daily, prepared with basic ingredients, simple recipes, delightful flavors and lots of love, for a fantastic experience that was also "gentle" on your wallet.

                                                                                                        The host was a jerk and every course was rushed . I got the fish and I only had one bite. It was a fixed menu so I had to pay for the meal.

                                                                                                        Pleasantly surprised a Ventura Blvd Italian staple could be so solid. Everything felt homemade in the best sense of the word. Uncomplicated, well-prepared and tasty. Great service. Cozy room. Will definitely be back.

                                                                                                        Stop the presses!! Literally, some of the best Italian food I have had so far in the LA area. The restaurant is so unassuming that you think you’re going to get, like, I don’t know, like a 3 1/2-star meal. I was blown away. I can tell you this much: It is definitely better than all the Italian food I had in Dallas . This place is definitely going to be in the 2025 rotation. Not only is the food amazing, but the service is impeccable. This is what we want when we go out to eat: great food and really fantastic service. I always order a cappuccino. For some reason, it takes like 15 minutes. My cappuccino came out so quickly. It was there before my dessert hit the table. I don’t know what more I could ask for.
