La Collina has delighted diners with world-class cuisine, service, and ambiance for more than 31 remarkable years. Classically-trained staff serve a selection of the finest old-world recipes in an atmosphere of casual elegance, while attending to every detail.
Located just off the Schuylkill Expressway in Belmont Hills, La Collina boasts spectacular hilltop views. The bar offers a unique atmosphere with live entertainment and dancing on weekends. This gem is known as one of the most romantic restaurants on the Main Line.
La Collina specializes in fresh seafood and veal dishes. Its signature dish, Dover Sole, is a delicate, tasty fish that is uniquely grilled, and served tableside. In addition to our Dover Sole, our daily fresh-fish specials include Branzino, Norwegian Salmon, Pompano, Orata, soft-shell crabs, Langostina, and other delights from the sea, depending upon availability. We are also known for our veal sirloin, veal porterhouse, ossobuco, and chops.

The food was excellent! We felt a bit rushed. We were still picking at our food and the server asked if we wanted the remains wrapped. We ordered a bottle of wine and was still drinking it, and they gave us the check. We felt that we had to hurry up.

There were four of us for dinner and we thoroughly enjoyed the service and the food was delicious. We had a 615 reservation and we’re finishing up our meal by 7:45. Unfortunately we weren’t able to enjoy any cappuccino because they had no milk and there were several others in the dining room that requested it as well. It was unfortunate and disappointing.

Wonderful local restaurant with new menu of traditional an creative Italian dishes. Delicious food with very generous portions. STaff is so friendlt and helpful. Its a true local gem on a hill with a great view!

Shrimp cocktail was waaaay overcooked and seemed cook on a prior date. Waiter brought the wrong entree which I chose to keep - but charged us at the price of the more expensive one that I didn't receive. Also charged same prices that they charge on GrubHub - not as on their website (which was $6 cheaper) - I dont recall what the menu said - but I believe it matched their website menu. No water refill until dessert came. Never offered a second round of drinks. Didn't check on how our meals were. No pepper offered, no salt/pepper on tables. Chocolate mousse was dry and ice cold - obviously done waaay in advance and refrigerated (no lovely orange taste to it which is traditional- no longer creamy). Gave free coffee only after seeing me stare at the bill which just balanced the overcharge - it didn't give anything to make up for it. One coffee was an espresso which was bad/sour. Really shocked by this experience. Not so happy anniversary to me.
