Travel down historic Market Street towards the Riverfront in Wilmington, Delaware and you will find La Fia Bistro. La Fia is an intimate dinner destination in a historic building located on the corner of 5th and Market. Chef Dwain Kalup's menu utlizes carefully sourced ingredients reflecting the seasons, local region and local farms. The menu at La Fia features small plates, pastas and creative entrees. Our cheese and charcuterie is one of a kind and not to be missed!

Due to the small size of our restaurant we allow 2 hours for guests to enjoy their dining experience. If you feel you need more time please reach out to us directly.

    We love La Fia, so it was an easy choice to come to celebrate a friend's birthday, but it was an extra delight to have it be Restaurant Week, with a whole special menu of new things to discover! Everything we had was AMAZING--we really hope a lot of the dishes find their way to the regular menu. The shrimp toast was absolutely outstanding--absolutely incredible. The beignets with a chive sauce and rhubarb jam were an absolute delight. The tuna tartare, a version of which has been on the regular menu, was exceptional. And then the entrees were fantastic as well: the short rib was superb (and I loved the roasted balsamic strawberries!), and others loved the branzino and the chicken. Top it off with amazing desserts new and favorites, and it was another incredible meal, with the best cocktails and service to accompany it. Thank you, as always!

    Excellent lunch today, server Jessica was excellent! Food delicious and decor very nice. Menu reflected lots great techniques and products for each plate

    We had a wonderful meal. And the service was terrific. I am never disappointed at La Fia and my guests felt the same way. Great atmosphere.

    FANTASTIC FOOD!!!! So worth the extra $ spent normally on dinner. Service was a bit slower but maybe thats normal for these types of restaurants.

    Another incredible meal at La Fia. Had a friend visiting from New York who was wowed by everything we had--perfect cocktails, the duck leg confit (always stunning), both the bucatini and the rigatoni (which we noted was even better than the widely renowned place in New York we had gone to a few weeks ago when I visited him), and the yuzu semifreddo. The service was impeccable as always. Simply the best place around!
