   We went here for my husband’s birthday with our two little kids and the staff were very accommodating. We had never been here before and it looked intimidating when we arrived for the first time but the experience was great. They served us quickly, once we ordered. Clean bathrooms and a changing table. We had an awesome espresso martini and loved the crab cakes. The littles loved the pomodoro pasta. It was a great place for an early dinner.

   Love La Fontaine. It’s my neighborhood goto restaurant when I want an upscale experience and food without a high price. This visit was with my extended family. We were seated in the window where ch they know I prefer. We had a variety of cocktails to start with. Mine was Black Shadow which is refreshing for a whiskey drink. Next was bruschetta, two orders because you get 4 in each order. The bruschetta is a nice, light appetizer. Yummy but doesn’t fill me up. La Fontaine salad is my go to but sometimes I get the strawberry spinach salad. After that was my favorite, cavatelli pasta with meatballs. The rest of us got branzino, ravioli, orecchiette pasta, steak frites. My husband went vegetarian and had capellini pomodoro and a side of vegetables. We went for dessert and coffee and had a mago cake and lava cake. Such a lovely evening with perfectly paced food, great service from Dee Dee and fab food.

   La Fontaine is one of the most consistent restaurants in Mt. View downtown; great service and fantastic food. We have gone to other restaurants and order similar dishes in the past; but La Fontaine's food always ride above them over and over again! Highly recommended!

    We were greeted by a very cheerful hostess who wished my son Happy Birthday as we came in the door. It was such a great way to start the night. The food was excellent and service very good. At the end of the meal my son was presented with a nice dessert with a candle, which was a very thoughtful touch. Very enjoyable and delicious dinner.
