                                                                Terrible way to place people with tables. Respect that it was Valentine’s Day but the restaurant had tables all over the beautiful place but placed us right next to each other in the back making it uncomfortable. Food was great. Service was amazing. But just didn’t know why they wanted to place three tables together with an empty place. Whatever.

                                                                They were out of three things I ordered, including mash potatoes. It was like a comedy routine. I would order something, she would walk away, come back and be out of it. Service was slow. Steaks were horribly bad.

                                                                We’ve been to La Merise in the past and did not have a good experience with the food. Because the overall reviews are great, we decided to give it another shot. This time we really enjoyed our experience, and we were pleased there was no prefix menu for Valentine’s Day. My husband had the French Onion soup which was delicious and I had the Lobster bisque, which was just “okay”. The escargot was a 7/10 and the baguette was warm and fresh. We both ordered the beef Wellington from the specials list and were very happy - we’d definitely order that again and hope it gets added to the regular menu. Service was excellent and the ambiance was romantic. We’ll be back again!

                                                                La Merise has gotten pricier. The salads, veggies and lamb were great but the mashed potatoes were very bland. Still like the place though.

                                                                La Merise is always the best choice! The food is incredible, the service is always great, and the ambiance can’t be beat. An amazing little hidden gem in Cherry Creek.

                                                                This was our first visit and it will be our last. The menu is excellent, food quality is fine, but the service is very disjointed, slow and inattentive. It is too bad, because this could be a very good restaurant. The property needs some updating also.

                                                                We joined for an early brunch. Our waitstaff was nonetheless overstretched. In spite of having made clear our needs were gluten free,,the cheese plate was delivered with crostini. Moreover said $32 cheese plate was cold, so the cheese wasn’t ready to be served. Of all restaurants, French one should know that.
