La Mezzaluna is an Italian Restaurant located in the heart of downtown Princeton, NJ. We are your premier choice for exquisite dining and service. Using the finest and freshest seasonal local ingredients, our menu has earned its reputation for mouth-watering regional Italian cuisine and flavors.

    This was our first time at this establishment. We had reservations and came an hour earlier than expected. They were very accomodating. The server was fine and the food was good. My only complaint was that I felt like I was eating in a fast food restaurant. The food was not timed properly. The salads came out while we were still eating our apps and there was no down time in between. I asked them to slow down in the kitchen but obviously they did not. It wasn't like they needed the table because we already had the reservation for the later time. Unfortunately because of this, we will not be back. If I wanted fast food service I would have gone to McDonald's.

    The food is always spectacular at LaMezzaluna! The service is impeccable too. I love it here. It never disappoints.

    Terrific service on a busy Dec Sat night. All main dishes were delicious! And a must is the fruit flambé and affogato! A solid staple BYOB in Princeton!

    La Mezzaluna continues to be our 'go to' restaurant in Princeton, and in fact, in the area. Everything is stellar - the service, the food, the ambiance! Always a wonderful experience!

    Service was excellent - attentive, but gave us tons of space to talk. The Caesar salad was very fresh and used a tasty olive oil and a hint of garlic, which is all it needs. Too many places overdo it. I had the smoked salmon with a pesto sauce and GF pasta. So good! I couldn’t resist bringing home leftovers to enjoy it again.

    Attended dinner Thanksgiving evening. We knew dry Turkey was a possibility, and they indeed delivered. What we did not expect was a very tough NY Strip Steak that was prepared medium rare. It was our first time at this restaurant. We will try one more time just to make sure it wasn’t a fluke.

    When we visit our daughter, we very often will choose Mezza Luna if we can obtain a reservation. We prefer the BYOB option (wine store next door) and love the cuisine there. The staff is so friendly and welcoming!
