In the mountains of North Georgia the Lake Rabun Hotel & Restaurant has been welcoming guests since 1922. Restored in 2008, the hotel and restaurant offer the best of rustic elegance. From the antique heart pine walls to the locust beams on our deck, expect unique, local craftsmanship. The decor is rich with period antiques, hand-woven rugs, and local artwork.

It features a creatively prepared and presented Contemporary American menu with a Southern twist in the farm to table tradition. Fresh produce locally grown is hand selected and prepared by our Chef de Cuisine, whose entrees respect the natural flavors of high quality, humanely raised and locally harvested food. His kitchen produces cuisines from many regions including Classical French, Southern USA, and Mediterranean. Many guests describe the food at the Lake Rabun Hotel as "the best in the mountains."

                                    We had the pleasure of dining at with Lake Rabun Hotel yesterday for brunch, the serve was amazing from the time we entered the building. We ordered the Rabun Burger and Shrimp and Grits both were outstanding!! Definitely a place we would recommend to everyone. We will definitely be back.

                                    Wonderful brunch, we were excited to try the Eggs Benedict, however they were not on the menu anymore. Bummer! But Trey suggested we give the shrimp and grits a try, and I must say they were delicious. Amazing service, great food, and delicious drinks! We will definitely return!

                                    Beautiful setting and nice place for Omnivare folks. They mentioned they make suggestion they can make the eve beautiful . But that’s not the case , they accomodate and try yet the food is average.

I am sorry you did not enjoy your visit with us. We offer a wide variety of menu options but unfortunately, at the moment we do not have any menu items that are vegan, we are currently working on making sure our menu is accommodating to everyone. Our staff did our best to accommodate your needs while you were dining with us, and we are sad to hear we fell short. We are planning to add menu items in the near future that will be vegan friendly, and We hope that you'll decide to join us again in the near future. We look forward to seeing you again soon.                                     Wonderful opportunity to take our family to this rustic and exceptional lodge. Small menu for Christmas Eve dinner but it was fantastic. The staff were attentive and very pleasant. The prime rib was incredible Thanks so much!

                                    We love Lake Rabun Restaurant - walking into such an old building is always nostalgic. We had the typical friendly and efficient service. The poached eggs were resembling hard-boiled eggs, and we left them on the plates. The breakfast platter was great! And the coffee was superb - not sure what they did differently, but it was the best we've had at this restaurant yet. All in all a lovely experience.

                                    Dinner was delicious, the service was lovely. The only comment would be to make sure to wear warm clothing to dinner when the outside temperatures are at freezing!!
