   Our initial goal was to sit in front of the fireplace. I spoke with someone earlier in the day who said the fireplace would be fired up but failed to tell me there were no tables in front of the fireplace, even though my reservation requested that. I’m very disappointed with the misinformation. The buffet takes up most of the room where it should be a nice experience for customers to sit by a roaring fire. Our waitress did not know English very well and couldn’t explain questions we had about some of the dishes. No olives for a martini! ???? What? No olives? Sorry but servers should know the menu and be able to explain it and answer anything asked since we are in the United States. Only upside was the beautiful sunset! I don’t think we will be back for a while or at least until positive changes are made!

   There was a Lions game at the same time, so it was pretty noisy in the restaurant. Also, one meal wasn’t ready at the same time with the other five, only 10 min later. Other than that, all was good - delicious food, very nice waitress.

   New Years Eve was a buffet only, which wasn’t mentioned on OpenTable when booking the reservation. $49 for adults would have been fine but our 9 year old was lumped into the age group 9 - 17 at a $43 rate, which was ridiculous. Drinks were reasonable. Sitting by the window and watching the tubing course was nice. The prime rib and scallops station was great.

   Our waiter was exceptional! She was handling the entire restaurant! The salmon was delicious while the potatoes and green beans were lukewarm.
