The Hoffman House restaurant, in the scenic Hudson Valley, opened for business in June of 1977. The building is a fine example of Early American Dutch rubble architecture featuring wide planked random width board floors, a fire place in each of the main rooms and many small multi-level rooms.The Hoffman House is located at the corner of the historic Stockade district in Kingston NY, and once served as fortification and a lookout. Today the Hoffman House serves a continental fare, featuring steaks, fresh seafood, pasta specialties and homemade artisan desserts. Patrick is literally dinner and a show. His knowledge of the menu, drinks and ability to match our preferences is amazing. All the servers are excellent and the food is the best in the area. This is our favorite.

The service and ambiance was great. The food. Well I can cook a pretty decent meal but like I told my wife. There is people that can draw and then there are artists. There are cooks then there are chefs. I couldn't possibly dream of making food this simple yet so delicious.

I am never disappointed when I bring someone here. The food, atmosphere and service is always consistent. Authentic French cuisine in a romantic setting that feels like Paris in some ways is perfect. I went here on a date and we felt like we were alone sitting in one of the corner tables. Thank you!!!

We sat at the booth next to the fireplace, the perfect setting for a delicious lunch with our besties on a cold winter’s day. Our waitress was lovely, and made us feel right at home.
