Sometimes the magic of sharing a table with friends over fabulous food and wonderful wine can be elevated by a place. Canyon Kitchen has that impact. Canyon Kitchen uses local produce and organic selections from our own community gardens and the surrounding area to source our creative Appalachian cuisine. Our multi-course menu is offered a la carte and will change regularly, sometime daily, and is enhanced by an extensive wine list and fresh, seasonal cocktails. A $40 corkage fee will be charged for bottles up to 750ml. We recommend that all parties arrive 30-45 minutes before their reservation to take in our beautiful meadow. Reservations are subject to a $25 per person credit card hold that will only be charged if you cancel within 24 hours of reservation. 20% service charge is added automatically to each check to be distributed amongst our front line staff.     This was our 3rd time dining here- the setting, service, and food were exceptional. We most enjoyed the charcuterie board as a starter- delicious cheeses, smoked trout, sopressa,etc. We both had steaks- cooked perfectly with the delicious center and just the right amount of outside flavorful crisp. Loved the romantic low light, beautiful decor, attentive service and 2 cocktails as well- Manhattan and dirty martini- both well done by the bartender!

    The gorgeous views are part of the draw to Oak Steakhouse, and even though it was a foggy, rainy night, the Oak stood out for service, delicious cocktails and outstanding food. Trevor, our server was attentive and courteous. Don’t skip the bread service!

    The valentines fixed menu was 9 courses of shear bliss! Every course was better than the last. The atmosphere was very elegant, and the server was extremely attentive, the food was phenomenal. My wife and I couldn't recommend this restaurant any more, a must try if you are int he Clayton / Dillard area!

    Great experience! Delicious cocktails. Bartender super accommodating to requests. Waitress was super sweet and helped so much with gluten free suggestions. Definitely the new foodie choice in Highlands!! We will be back!!
