The Bow Valley Ranche is located at the end of Bow Bottom Trail SE, in Fish Creek Provincial Park, just follow the signs for Bow Valley Ranche.The Bow Valley Ranche Restaurant is the new fine dining facility located in the restored Ranche House. Their menu features a contemporary interpretation of Alberta regional cuisine. Today, the flavours and traditions of Alberta’s ranching heritage live on at the Bow Valley Ranche. Our Grand Salon holds approximately 110-120 guests. William Roper Hull and Senator Patrick Burns hold approximately 30-32 guests. Our John Glenn room, located in the upstairs, old master bedroom of the house, holds approximately 12 guests. Sit down beside the massive fireplace in the Grand Salon or enjoy the covered wrap-around veranda during warm weather. Enjoy lunch, dinner, cocktails or weekend brunch. Reservations are recommended. Please note that we do not take reservations for the patio.

The Beta!In the fall of 2023, we started experimenting with doing restaurant pop ups out of our small kitchen inside of socal bouldering. These pop ups allowed us to figure out the tastes of our clientele and how we could standout as a restaurant in south calgary. our small menu is meant to be shared among friends, new or old and offers a dining experience like no other.

Our décor is warm and modern. The tradition has always been dark wood, leathers and a muted palette for a steakhouse. We broke the mould and decided to add hand-selected music that reflects us! We’re more like Jay Z and less like Sinatra. We only serve ranch specific Alberta Beef. That means we don’t serve beef from anywhere else on the planet. We know our farmers and ranchers personally and respect the hard work they put in to produce our beef. We are one of just a handful of steakhouses in Canada that serves, Grass-fed, Grain-fed, Wet-aged, Dry-aged and Wagyu beef 365 days a year. Our beef is always fresh never frozen.We use a 1800 degree Infrared Grill to cook your steaks. The high heat creates a flavourful crust on the outside of the steak and leaves a juicy centre.

    High quality service and food. Been a while I’ve been at a restaurant that meets classic high end, relaxed yet meaningful experiences. Former hospitality (5 star background) and my love for Michelin III) made this a memorable restaurant. The way they handled our feedback has earned a new loyal patron. Thank you!

    The food is always consistent and very good tasting. Our server Anica was very attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. Ask to be in her section! CattleBaron does a good job pacing your different meals and have a pretty decent wine selection. It was definitely busy because of Valentine's Day, but staff was well prepared.

    Amazing Valentine's menu. Perfect size portions and plenty to eat. Ricotta Gnudi and steak dishes were lovely. Wonderful service as always.

    I took my daughter there for Valentine’s Day as she loves the kids alfredo. From the moment we stepped in we were spoiled - champagne and chocolate covered strawberries- and as we were leaving tulips and chocolate hearts! They even had a sweet Valentine’s backdrop and were taking Polaroids for the guests. What a fun experience. Our server was very sweet and fun with my daughter. I think it was our best Valentine’s night ever. Thanks for making it special!
