Had an incredible date night and the food was just amazing! Everything was cooked and seasoned perfectly! Still our favorite restaurant in Portland

We celebrate our birthdays at Salty’s, I have since I was a kid.

First time and what a lovely dining experience. Friendly staff greeted us and helped understand the menu and options. We were celebrating a birthday and shared 4 items between 2 people with leftovers. It was super welcoming from start to finish, the food was amazing fusions and what we ordered had a little bit of heat that just enhanced and brought out the flavors. Super fun, reasonably priced, delicious food, place to treat yourself and others.

Have been trying to get to Screen Door for dinner for a long time and finally made it this past Saturday. It was VERY crowded when we arrived for our 7 pm reservation, but the guy working the front desk was great, communicated clearly and managed the crush very well. It is not a huge restaurant, and is obviously very popular, so we had about a 15-minute wait for two tables together to clear so they could accommodate our group of 5. The food was very "down home" but was extraordinary. Very well prepared and very flavorful. The waitress was friendly and professional and managed everything so that we felt well cared for despite the crowd. Highly recommended. I plan to return for brunch or lunch sometime soon.

The food is always good here. In addition to the server, two other people checked in on our dining experience, so that's really nice. They care about their establishment, and about their customers, and it shows. We had the prawns, the caesar salad, and focaccia bread. All were delicious and beautifully presented. The wine, a recommended alternative, was spot on. Reservations made it simple to arrive and be seated without fuss. Go here. Find your favorite dish. You won't be disappointed.
