Riccardo and Marybeth welcome you to their 3rd property, Maribella Ristorante. Opening R Wine Bar & Kitchen in 2018, and Vespa Catering and Brix Wine Bar in 2022, they have created a culture of hospitality for guests who feel like family. Riccardo was born in Florence, Italy and moved to Boston when he was 5-years-old. He stayed in the Boston area for college and attended Tufts University. Marybeth, born and raised in Sioux Falls, SD, moved to Boston to be a nanny and went to Somerville School of Nursing. The two met in Medford, MA, dated and became engaged in Oak Bluffs on Martha’s Vineyard in 1996. Relocating to Sioux Falls, SD in 1999, Riccardo and Marybeth have developed a reputation for making people feel welcome with their three boys, Dante, Berent, and Jaxon. When I was a child I grew up with my mother, grandmother and aunt. All of them were very good in the kitchen. They had different styles and they cooked every day. From ravioli, soup or patisserie, everything was made from scratch. Those ladies were my teachers. My first lesson was dishwashing, later it was helping as their assistant. To honor those amazing woman who helped me in my early days, I decided to open Tarquin to bring Sioux Falls our flavors, recipes and dishes. Tarquin is a piece of Buenos Aires in a remote corner of Sioux Falls commercial district. You are always going to be welcome here and we will always offer you our best.

Great waitress. Food is delicious. Drinks were spot on. But it is noisy. That should be expected at an arcade.

We had the Valentines Day dinner for 2 and it was delicious. The portion sizes were perfect. The noise levels were as expected for a fully packed restaurant while a live musician. Our server was attentive and made sure our drinks never ran out.

We have eaten here many times before and always enjoyed it. Today was especially delightful mainly due to our server, Velvet. She made us feel special and graciously apologized for the slight delay. We did not notice as it was busy and we expected that. (Valentine’s Day) Velvet suggested the strawberry rhubarb cheesecake for dessert. It was amazing. A perfect dining experience.

We had a reservation for 7pm and got there at 645 and our server Neusha was amazing making sure we always were good. The food was also amazing and came super fast.
