The Derby is more than a restaurant. Established in 1922, it has been family owned and operated since 1951. It is a grand museum showcasing some of horse racing’s greatest moments. Diners are invited to take a break from the rush of modern life and travel back to the time of George Woolf, Seabiscuit, and relive the excitement of “The Race of the Century”. Staff was friendly and accommodating, we celebrated a birthday on the patio and everyone enjoyed dinner and the casual ambiance. Pork chops, spaghetti with meatballs and the chicken parmigiana were fan favorites. Garlic bread and meatballs for an appetizer is a must, served warm and well portioned. Can't wait to return for another great dinner.
