Margeaux Supper Parlor presents a novel way to experience dinner by telling stories through cuisine. Guests are encouraged to order a themed trio of dishes, larger than tapas and smaller than big plates, to better experience the menu and recreate the familial bonhomie we associate with supper at grandma’s (when you were urged to try a bite of everything!). Recommended wine pairings are served in collections to mirror the entree trios. A neighborhood steak house with outstanding quality at prices you won"t believe. We feature steak and Prime Rib with a generous chicken, chop, and seafood selection. Franks is Greater Boston's oldest steak house, is adored by the Phantom Gourmet and the Zagat Guide and is going strong after all these years. The Bar has 5 flat screen tv's with live cover free bands on the weekends. Our chef also has some phenomenal specials every night for our ever increasing list of regulars.     We had a Christmas dinner at Margeaux. The restaurant was packed, and service a little slow but attentive. The dining room was not too noisy even completely full, and the food was amazing as usual. Highly recommended.

    made the reservation for a birthday celebration on the recommendation of the honorary On a Sunday evening it was very busy and we had reservations. We were greeted quickly both by host and server. Ths  downsides were.:  mid December by the windows seem like there was no heat on in the place. Many tables around us. People have their coats on. It was cool seating; replaced our order and on two occasions the waitress came back to tell us they were out of three of our meals and two of our sides. We plunged back in ordered new things and were served one of our sides before any other meal came by like 15 to 20 minutes.. when we did receive food, which wasn’t too long of a wait it was pretty good. The decor and atmosphere of the place were great. We did indicate it was a birthday, but there wasn’t any kind of special effort on the restaurants part.
