The Assembly House is a gorgeous Georgian gem perfectly located in the heart of Norwich. We set out to create the kind of establishment we'd love to find in one of the UK's most beautiful cities, one where old-fashioned hospitality is valued, food is delicious and where beautiful surroundings can be found hidden around every corner.From breakfast where we serve our unique Beforenoon Tea - the breakfast edition of afternoon tea - to lunch which includes Assembly House classics and grazing boards, we're open seven days a week. We're most famous for our themed afternoon teas which change regularly and are served from noon until last service at 3.30pm daily. As the Home of Afternoon Tea, we also serve some spectacular savoury versions of tea, including Beforenoon Tea, seafood option Afternoon Sea and our cheese-based option Afternoon Cheese. We had a lovely lunch- food was very tasty and good value. Service was excellent- the waitress was attentive but also gave us time… we never felt rushed and enjoyed just being there! A really good experience- it felt special. We will definitely be coming back!

What can we say? Just superb Sunday! The staff were helpful, the roast was absolutely stunning! Also a special mention to our waitress whose name I believe was Charlotte. She was super attentive and went above and beyond! Perfect pub and a perfect evening. Will 100% be returning
