Located on Austin’s vibrant South Congress Avenue, Neighborhood Sushi serves high quality sushi and Japanese-inspired dishes in a casual and beautiful setting. Corn, the basis of the Mexican cuisine for thousands of years, is also the foundation of our kitchen. We nixtamalize and process our masa in house sourcing it from heirloom varieties of corn grown by small family farms in Mexico.

    From the amazing panucho to the watery mouth charred pulp and the incredible enchiladas verdes going thru the maguc churros with atole de masa, everything in Nômade is crafted with details to make your stay something out of the limits of your imagination.

    Underdog has been named Austin’s Best New Restaurant 2023 and one of Austin’s best restaurants — but it’s still underrated, in my humble opinion. It’s that good. Underdog should be named the the best in Texas, the Southwest, the U.S. Underdog’s food keeps getting better and better. Underdog’s wine program is top notch. Co-owner Richard Hargreave is among the country’s best wine professionals. I’ve been around the block a few times in this department and Richard shows me something new every time I go. All I say is “hey Rich — what should I get?” Spot on. And Underdog’s service team is so sweet. Most have been there since the start — which says a lot about the place. Go now.
