JOJO'S is an independent American inspired Kitchen & Bar established in 2018 by sisters Kelly & Claire. Located in the historic end of the High Street, our aim is to create a relaxed friendly atmosphere while serving the finest comfort food & craft cocktails.We create the magic by slow cooking our ribs and hand pressing our steak burgers in house. All of our dining will be either 6.30 or 7.00pm starts, unfortunately we will not be able to offer any later tables.Our Adult only fine dining restaurant has been awarded two rosettes by the AA for the quality of our food. We aim to host the majority of our summer and early autumn dining, alfresco in our newly built under cover outside dining experience in the garden. It’s been a while since we’ve had an Assembly House afternoon tea and had forgotten quite how good they are compared to others available. We were warmly greeted at restaurant reception and quickly shown to our table. After a suitable time gap our drinks request was taken by a friendly and efficient staff member, our pots of tea soon arriving. Our multi tiered tea stand then arrived with an explanation of all the delights thereon, with a request to just ask when we were ready for our scones and/or wanted our second pot of tea. Every tier was a delight as were the scones. Several other tables opted for the ‘doggie box’ but I’m afraid we scoffed the lot. We have a Norfolk Passport card so we’re entitled to a 10% discount. A lovely ‘afternoon out’, delightful food in a charming setting with very pleasant staff. Thank you.
