Fantastic location! Took my mom here for a nice fancy meal while we were vacationing in Alaska. The view... amazing! The food... delicious! Overall, great experience! Thank you for a special night.

Went there to celebrate the end of our Alaska visit. Very pricey menu but some more reasonable options available like a burger or a salad. Husband reports burger was cooked to his liking but had a weird meatloaf texture that he did not like. I had one of their homegrown dinner salads- would have liked the salmon option on top but kind of pricey so went with the chicken, large selection of greens and a nice salad dressing and the salad was huge. Unable to finish it all. Server was very attentive. Only serve beer and wine and one member of the party was looking forward to a nice drink.

As usual, excellent service and wonderful food. My husband and I like to sit at the sushi bar where we enjoy watching the chefs prepare dishes. Johnny, the chef working directly in front of us this time, was very helpful in picking out different items to try. All his recommendations were delicious. Sakura is one of our favorite places to eat in Girdwood.
