Readable but far from boring, sometimes daring but always fair, his cuisine is above all generous and convivial. Located just a stone's throw from the Hôtel de Ville and the Marais district, Le Coupe Gorge restaurant, with its antique parquet flooring, dressed stonework and red velvet banquettes, exudes the flavour of old Paris and the pleasures of fine dining. The restaurant was founded in 1895 on rue de la Coutellerie, a street that owes its name to the many active cutlers. Its current name is more recent, no doubt due to the offbeat humour of one of its previous owners! Far from being a trap, Le Coupe Gorge offers a warm atmosphere, typical of old Parisian establishments, and a friendly welcome.

Il posto è carinissimo, il personale è gentile e molto accomodante nelle richieste. É un locale perfetto sia per adulti che per bambini e il cibo è veramente ottimo, hanno proposte per tutti i gusti (Anche gluten free). Lo stra consiglio e ci ritornerò nel prossimo viaggio a Parigi.

Avevo aspettative molto alte per questo locale ‘posh’ di Parigi. Onestamente il locale è stupendo ma il menù in po troppo limitato che difficilmente soddisfa tutti i palati. I prezzi sono alti i rispetto all’offerta e non trovo il perché di tanto hype.
