The long established tradition of Afternoon Tea has been wonderfully preserved at Ashford Castle since 1868 - you’ll notice the original silver tea set displayed in the Connaught Room, which was presented to Lord and Lady Ardilaun to celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary in 1896. With spectacular views from the comfort of the castle’s elegant interior, take your time to savour every delicious moment. The Afternoon Tea menu offers guests a wide selection of speciality teas or perhaps a glass of Champagne, delicate finger sandwiches, warm freshly baked scones with lashings of cream and home-made jam, not to mention our tasty pastries. It’s the perfect way to spend a leisurely afternoon with friends.Please note that all visitors will be directed to our car park located across the bridge and a shuttle will be provided. Cobbler's Bar is one of Westport’s best traditional pubs offering customers fabulous food from its dedicated kitchen, a relaxed atmosphere and welcoming staff.     The Tea was such a lovely experience. Every bite was better than the last. The teas were perfect, and everyone was beyond kind from the welcome to the ride over to the falconry school afterward. It was the perfect experience.

    We visited Cobblers on St. Patrick’s Day. We were greeted at the door with a smile & the service at the table was excellent. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The restaurant is cosy & warming. We had our 5 month old grandson with us and they accommodated him too with no bother at all. Highly recommend Cobblers Bar in Westport for food.

    Great staff, very friendly and attentive, helpful with information about Wesport and the locale. The food was delicious, 4 of us all had a different main course from ribs to fajitas to burgers and all was well cooked, tasty and hot. The overall cost was reasonable and worth it for the tasty food in lovely ambient surroundings.

    Fantastic service and a wonderful menu . Staff brilliant , friendly and attentive . Wonderful choice of options even for vegetarian and vegans . Loved the mini desert choice to end . Would definitely eat there again , I had the Turkey and ham which was plentiful and others had salmon , steak and duck and all tasteful, beautifully presented and wonderful accompaniments
