Originally opened in 2005, Garrett Harker’s flagship restaurant has reopened its doors just up Beacon St. only three blocks from its original location. Eastern Standard continues to offer seasonally focused New England interpretations of classic brasserie fare, including raw bar and charcuterie, nostalgic favorites like steak tartare, baked rigatoni, steak frites, and butterscotch bread pudding, and some new soon-to-be-instant-classic dishes. We are currently open seven days a week. Saturday & Sunday we are open with an All Day Menu. Reservations can be made on our website, or through OpenTable. Due to the intimate nature of our dining room, if you would like to make a reservation for more than 4 guests, please give us a call at the restaurant. We hold reservations for a 15 minute grace period. Please call us if you are running late, we will do our best to hold your table but cannot guarantee it. Due to the size of our dining room, we do appreciate 1.5 hour dining experiences for parties of 1-2 guests, 2 hours for parties of 3-4, and 2.5 hours for parties of 5 or more guests that book reservations.     It’s it’s really hard to find an authentic restaurant irrespective of the cuisine and culture. This restaurant knocked it out of the park. I’ve dined all over the world and I can honestly say this is one of the best meals that I’ve had in the last 10 years. In addition to that, I didn’t have to remortgage the house to enjoy the food. This is my must stop place when I go to Boston from now on.

    We brought a friend from Vietnam as it was his first time in US and first day in Boston. He had the lamb, my husband had the Beef Bourguignon and I had the Dover sole (which I always get at La Voile) and all were delicious. We are never disappointed…fabulous. And best decaf cappuccinos!
