Bud's at Silver Run is a casual elegant restaurant located just north of Westminster, MD and south of Gettysburg, PA. Opened in May of 2008 "Bud's at Silver Run" invites you to enjoy great dining in a casual, friendly atmosphere. Local resident Blinn Salisbury III and partner Ken Lurie are pleased to become part of the community and to revive this great location. We have searched for the right restaurant and are happy that we have found it in Silver Run. Ken brings more than thirty years of varied restaurant experience with him to Bud's. From learning under Karl Beckley at the Greenlake Grill in Seattle to Food & Beverage Director of the Virgin Grand in the Virgin Islands, Ken is excited to return to Maryland. It all began with a love story and a dream. Linwood, a chef, and Ellen, a reporter, met 36 years ago in a restaurant of course! They married and began to envision that someday they would open a restaurant of their own. The restaurant’s first business plan was written at their dining room table on an electric typewriter. In 1988 Linwoods opened its doors, and it has been a labour of love for more than thirty years. Linwoods’ cuisine consists of the freshest ingredients, and inventive preparation. Our service is warm and attentive. We have developed a reputation for consistency an attention to detail. These qualities are key to our catering business as well.     Great spot for a "catch-up" lunch with a friend or colleague. Choices were outstanding. Staff was prompt and gave us plenty of time to talk. Food quality was excellent. We will be back!

    A top-tier experience from start to finish. We were fortunate enough to enjoy three unforgettable hours, each one surpassing our expectations. Our evening began with a warm welcome at the cozy bar/lounge next to the fire, where we savored our first chef-selected course while sipping drinks and soaking in the ambiance. From there, we were escorted to a stunning table, complete with a personalized menu celebrating our 15th anniversary—thoughtful touches like our names and an extraordinary menu set the tone for what was to come. Surrounded by elegance and another crackling fire, every course was a masterpiece, and the service was nothing short of impeccable. The attention to detail was extraordinary, and we can’t wait to return. Simply unforgettable!

    I had the best meal I’ve had in a very long time- Seafood Sautee! Soooo delicious!! The soup was good, the oysters were great, the wine was perfect!! My husband and I had an amazing wedding anniversary there tonight! Service was excellent and everyone was very attentive! Thank you!!
