Our meat is sourced from our nearby family farm, and most of our fish is supplied by our very own fleet of fishing boats.Here at the Kings Arms, we serve a varied, locally-sourced menu, with breakfast, lunch and dinner all available in the bar, conservatory and outdoor terraces.     We were a family group of six. It was a nice Xmas feeling with the people around us. The food was just ok, some of the group enjoyed all the courses but majority thought it was very average for the money we paid. Service was very good, servers were cheerful and obliging. We did enjoy ourselves and there was plenty to eat. Was it value for money ? Not sure but you have to pay a lot extra when people work on Xmas day.

    We had the most fantastic Christmas Eve Lunch for our family. The staff was fantastic and helped us enjoy our time together. It was great to relax and visit. We had all been busy cooking and cleaning up to really visit. The Ivy all owed us to have our quiet family time with fantastic food! Thank you so much for everything

    Excellent lunch today. We all had the special Venison. It was tasty and good value for money. If anything it was a bit too big ! Which meant we couldn’t fit dessert in !

    Visited the Balfour on Sunday with my wife and with my sister. We each opted for a starter, Sunday roast and a pudding and all three courses were absolutely outstanding. Never been here before but absolutely will come back again. Best roast I have had for years. Decent price, and really good, friendly atmosphere.
