Built in the early 17th century, this grade two listed pub is the oldest coaching inn in Frodsham, originally having stabling for 23 horses. Staff are always friendly and helpful, Good choice of food , would prefer a choice of cheese on the vegan menu as a vegetarian I like normal cheese, just a suggestion not a complaint

Ordered a mixed grill and a chicken tikka. Got no eggs for the mixed grill, would you like an extra sausage? That was a question! What should I do? I know shall I nip across the road to the co-op and get some? No your alright. When it came the size of the gammon steak was massive. Food was OK but not presented very well. But it was a night out with my boy so it didn't matter.
