Real Ales and local Ciders sit proudly amidst the eclectic selection of wines to suit every budget. To make the most of a visit to the Charlton, there are nine comfortable en-suite bedrooms. The breakfast menu, from Clun Valley Eggs, locally cured bacon and Ludlows' famed sausages to the finest smoked salmon has something for everyone. Independently run by Cedric and Amy Bosi, a warm welcome is guaranteed. Children are welcome and are provided with a children's menu. For the dog lovers amongst you, well behaved dogs are allowed in, and with the beautiful walks around Ludlow and its Whitcliffe Common, muddy boots are always a feature of the pub!

Never had a bad meal here, always delicious and tasty, lovely staff and a lovely atmosphere. Had the platter to share wow there was so much meat all cooked to perfection very tasty.

We came here because it was dog friendly and because of the high star reviews. As soon as we sat down the waitress came over with a dog water bowl which we didn't even have to ask for, which was a great start. We went for a three course meal with a snack to begin with and each course was as amazing as the last. Great food and service. Highly recommend.
