The long established tradition of Afternoon Tea has been wonderfully preserved at Ashford Castle since 1868 - you’ll notice the original silver tea set displayed in the Connaught Room, which was presented to Lord and Lady Ardilaun to celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary in 1896. Beautiful restaurant, staff were lovely.. food came really quickly, too quickly. Stake meal was delicious, sauce to compliment it nicest ever had. Burger unfortunately was a let down. All in all. Was a nice experience

Had great meals here last night. As usual excellent food and great service. Prawn cocktail and black pudding and goats cheese for starters, both delicious. Then chicken goujons and chicken with a brandy and mango sauce, again both delicious. Cobblers never dissapoint

First time having afternoon tea which I received as a birthday gift and it was fabulous. The food, setting service and overall experience was amazing would definitely recommend

We had a pre theatre dinner which did just the job. The food was really good, the staff were very attentive and the surroundings lovely and comfortable.
