We are a New York steakhouse with a twist. Our Executive Chef is the only one in Southern Connecticut to use the old world technique of skillet cooking; producing the most perfectly cooked steak.     Don’t miss the tuna toast or steak tartare. Chowder best I’ve ever had! Steak frites on point. Great food. Great drinks. Casual but nice enough for a date night with class.

    The Tavern was the perfect choice for our mid-week birthday celebration. The additions to the fall menu are delicious with particular favorites: the Spinach & Artichoke Dip and Acorn Squash Skins. Service was warm, welcoming and efficient and we appreciated Chef Alex’s table-side visit. We’ll be back!

    A wonderful new place for dinner. Have been going there for breakfast for 2 years and now a wonderful place to go in the evening. Top notch entertainment tonight. We are bringing a large group to dine and hear this musician in Dec 10.

    Overall a great experience. Our waiter Carol sp? Was attentive and made sure everyone's order was perfect. Craft cocktails perfectly blended. The pop-overs were a nice surprise, delicious. Entrees on point. My only suggestion was the ambiance, overall esthetically beautiful, it was a bit loud and too bright, maybe a dimmer?
