The Cliff Hotel dates back to 1890 when the original hotel was opened, in 1915 the building was ravaged by fire and demolished. The old staff accommodation was renovated into a new hotel, the building that we currently occupy today. We have a vast selection of dining options from our relaxed art-deco inspired MUSE restaurant, our vibrant bar dining area or one of the biggest outside dining terraces in Norfolk. Wherever you decide to eat our menus will give you a huge variety of choice from fresh fish to steaks and grills. Another wonderful afternoon tea experience at The Assembly House. Great service, wonderful food and a great start to our Christmas celebrations. Thank you so much to all the staff who continue to deliver a wonderful experience in the most amazing building.

Amazing staff, very friendly and nothings too much. Big table but they took our order and got our food out quickly. Food was delicious! Highly recommend and will definitely visit again.

Exceptional service and a lovely dining experience as usual. We tried the festive afternoon tea which was delicious, however for us there wasn’t enough savoury and too much sweet. For the cost I would have liked at least a savoury scone option or a sausage roll maybe. Still a lovely experience and we will return to eat from the main menu.
