A fabulous Sunday lunch! We were a party of 11, gathering for a special occasion. Communication with booking and preordering was friendly and easy. We were given a lovely welcome on arrival, good service throughout, and enjoyed the most delicious Sunday roast. Meat was tender and vegetables perfectly cooked. Selection of lovely starters. Any extra requests were met willingly. The ambiance and surroundings in the Kings Arms were both warm and stylish (including the toilets and toitetries) -especially appreciated by the family down from London and most discerning friends :) Exceptional, thank you!

The whole experience from arrival; service; food ambience was everything the said. We had 4 starters plus a bites plate which was perfect for us. Dog friendly by that I mean totally - was like being at home - no restricted areas. Thank you everyone - it was amazing !

We went Thursday and enjoyed so much we came back! Just as good food and service but set menu Thursday was incredible value; notwithstanding it was still great value. Little touches were fab including lots of space between tables

Stunningly good food and service, relaxed and comfortable ambience, reasonably priced - what more could one ask?

Staff were very friendly and accommodating, they honoured our booking even though they had changed their opening days for the winter. We found the afternoon tea to be enjoyable but slightly expensive for the quality, but this would not deter us returning.
