Ristoranti in zona Budget Inn - Gainesville

We decided to try this restaurant with some fellow athlete friends while we were competing in the World Masters Athletics at Celebration Point. My husband and one of our friends enjoyed glasses of Vinho Verde. I tasted it, and it was very light and refreshing. My husband and I shared the Palm Beach Plate with ahi tuna, avocado and corn, but it had too much corn for my liking. We shared the crab cakes, which seemed overpriced at $39.00, but were spicy and tasty. At least there were lumps of crab, along with the breading. There were no side dishes with the entrees, though, so we enjoyed the bourbon mushrooms as our accompaniment. For dessert, I was disappointed with the coconut cream pie, as I wanted more of the filling. This was not the pie slice I imagined, but instead it was mostly a shell with a little filling in the middle. Our friends enjoyed a huge slice of lemon cake with several layers that they took back to their hotel room.

Food is superior, I don’t mind the price for the quality. Service is fantastic, staff exceptionally pleasant and helpful. Only downside side in my opinion is the acoustics which make conversations difficult but not enough to prevent me from returning.

I always love coming to Mark‘s my favorite restaurant of all times Jeremy is the best server we always get our same table same server and everything the food the risotto the drinks everything is wonderful. I follow you on Instagram. I’m a big lover of Mark’s thank you always for a great service.

The food is delicious, particularly the veggies. They were happy to accommodate diners with dietary concerns (gluten-free this trip and previously with my vegan sister). The staff are friendly. The interior ambiance is great. They do have a few outside tables but they are right next to the parking lot, so far less formal than the inside. On previous trips the temperature inside was fine, but this week it was a bit warm, so it's possible the AC was struggling. It was actually pretty busy for a Monday night.

Been twice, food and service are great! Small restaurant so it feels intimate.
