Hochi Mama was the God Mother of all aspiring street artists and rappers in the early nineties. An immigrant in the big city, she hosted underground art shows along with rap battles for the rejects; a place where you could just be at home, but with family. The Japanese dished were brilliant, from the sashimi and okonomiyaki, to the smoked salmon and beef dishes (and the meat balls!). Great service, lovely atmosphere, will be back again.

Herd is a fantastic restaurant - such a great find on our trip to Healesville. From the moment we stepped inside, the service was incredible. Beautiful ambience and delicious food - we both had their signature steak, and were not disappointed. We will definitely be back on our next trip!
