Welcome to Sugar Boat - a relaxed & informal neighbourhood bistro in the heart of the town on Colquhoun Square, a stones throw from the sea front. We are open daily from 7.30am (8.30am on Saturday & 9am on Sunday's) through until late. We serve everything from breakfast with a cracking fry up or eggs benedict with or avocado & poached eggs on toast. For lunch & dinner we offer a la carte menus. We dined here during another stay at Portavadie and we were not disappointed. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Every thing well presented and well cooked. We will definitely dine here again on our next visit 😊

Slightly disappointed as we had look at the online menu and decided that it was a good choice and had a few options that we were going to choose. Got there (15th Feb) and found only a limited Valentines menu was available and the options from the main menu that we would have chosen were not available.
