Cobbler's Bar is one of Westport’s best traditional pubs offering customers fabulous food from its dedicated kitchen, a relaxed atmosphere and welcoming staff. The brand new bar features dining seating for up to 90 people inside with additional dining space offered on the street tables (seasonal) and also in it's courtyard area. Cobbler’s serves their Grub Barfood menu daily from 12noon to 9pm. The new menu, presented by head chef Eoin Mc Donnell, offers everything one would expect from any of the top urban gastro pubs. All-time favourites such as fish & chips, steaks, burgers will be popular and the addition of new vegan options will appeal to many. Live music has long been associated with Cobbler’s Bar, the famous Sunday Night Session, the longest running trad session in Westport is extremely popular.

The long established tradition of Afternoon Tea has been wonderfully preserved at Ashford Castle since 1868 - you’ll notice the original silver tea set displayed in the Connaught Room, which was presented to Lord and Lady Ardilaun to celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary in 1896. With spectacular views from the comfort of the castle’s elegant interior, take your time to savour every delicious moment. The Afternoon Tea menu offers guests a wide selection of speciality teas or perhaps a glass of Champagne, delicate finger sandwiches, warm freshly baked scones with lashings of cream and home-made jam, not to mention our tasty pastries.     The Tea was such a lovely experience. Every bite was better than the last. The teas were perfect, and everyone was beyond kind from the welcome to the ride over to the falconry school afterward. It was the perfect experience.

    We visited Cobblers on St. Patrick’s Day. We were greeted at the door with a smile & the service at the table was excellent. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The restaurant is cosy & warming. We had our 5 month old grandson with us and they accommodated him too with no bother at all. Highly recommend Cobblers Bar in Westport for food.

    Fantastic service and a wonderful menu . Staff brilliant , friendly and attentive . Wonderful choice of options even for vegetarian and vegans . Loved the mini desert choice to end . Would definitely eat there again , I had the Turkey and ham which was plentiful and others had salmon , steak and duck and all tasteful, beautifully presented and wonderful accompaniments
