Paisans is an Italian word for friends, but to us, it also means family. Family has always been at the center of Paisans’ beginning and the driving force behind its success. Paisans Pizza was started by Luigi, an immigrant to the United States, in 1985. In a small corner store in Cicero, Illinois, Luigi started making pizzas out of a household kitchen oven. My fish entree was excellent, vegetables great but the potatoes were not good. We had a table in the bar, which was great and the noise level was fine.

We love Valentines at this location! The service is always wonderful and accommodating. The decorations could be cuter though. I’ve seen other locations decorated so nicely with balloons and decor; this location was very minimally decorated w a couple streamers and wrinkled tablecloths.
