Our menus focus on local distilleries and local farms throughout Alabama; the menu is ever changing with only the freshest products on hand. Our dishes are whimsical yet elegant with a feeling of comfort to them.Roots & Revelry departs from the norm by modernizing fine dining. It’s haute with casual undertones, southern with international influences.Our Patio is not covered. Patio is weather permitting. In case of inclement weather, we will do our best to accommodate you inside but can not guarantee a table. Reservations preferred, walk-ins accepted based on availability.We are allotting 1 1/2 hours for parties of two, 2 hours for parties of four, 2 1/2 hours for parties six or more.     We had an excellent experience at Culinary Dropout at The Summit in Birmingham, AL. Our server was knowledgeable and accommodating, and all of our food choices were delicious. My favorite was the Crispy Popcorn Shrimp appetizer. (The creamy sauce was a bit different than the norm & so yummy!) C.D. offers an upscale, not-stuffy atmosphere, with fun cocktails and a cool vibe. Highly recommend!

    The experience was overall positive. The hostess was also the waitress. When it did get busy, they were having to multitask. However was aware of the wait and made a point to apologize. We accepted and understood. Chef delivered food and stated they were short staffed at the time. Food was great and the dessert( bread pudding) was the best i ever had 👍🏾
