A very nice Sunday roast and the service was excellent as was the service for our dog who enjoyed it too.

Second time eating here. Just as great as the first time. Cannot rate this place enough. Amazing food and wonderful faultless service. It is an experience to come and dine here and despite the quality of the food and service the prices are reasonable. This place is a refreshing change from all the chain restaurants that have the monopoly in Bournemouth now. Worth making the effort to travel to if you are not a Charminster resident guarantee you will not be disappointed.

Overall we really enjoyed our meal, I would say it was fair value and good quality. Our server Geraldine was polite, friendly and attentive throughout, the food was nice, we did have to wait a considerable time for desert, not sure why exactly, it was only a cheesecake, but seemed to take far longer than the main meal. The setting was lovely, Art Deco vibe with a relaxing ambiance, it was quiet due to the time of day (early meal due to an evening engagement) but this suited us, I would definitely go back and would recommend a meal here.

A stunning first visit to The Oaks! The Cheese Soufflé is phenomenal. We dined on a Wednesday night so took advantage of the 2 steaks offer - absolutely perfect steak with great accompaniments and wine included. Winner. Lovely staff, super friendly and a gorgeous venue too. We will be back next time we visit the South Coast for sure!
