In the heart of downtown Healdsburg, one of the country’s most accomplished chefs Kyle Connaughton, along with farmer and wife Katina Connaughton, host guests at SingleThread Farm-Restaurant-Inn, a 55-seat fine dining restaurant with five exclusive suites above the restaurant. The farm, located on 24 acres in the historic Dry Creek Valley, supplies vegetables, fruit, herbs, flowers and honey, to their restaurant. Since 2012, The Parish Café has been serving traditional Louisiana cuisine in Sonoma County. Walked around the cozy, picturesque town of Healdsburg prior to our reservation. When we walked in the front door, they greeted up by name, took our coats and offered a delicious warm tea from the kitchen window. We next walked into the dining room and felt like we’d stepped into a beautiful restaurant in Japan. The table was already decorated and prepared with the first bites, arranged on miniature rock garden. Each dish, each course was fantastic. From the immaculate presentation, to the ingredients, the taste. It was amazing. Would recommend to anyone. And only when we were leaving, did I find out that it’s also a hotel, where you can stay in Healdsburg, not only for their dinner rezzies but also for breakfast delivered to your room. I’d totally forgotten about that part. It was all amazing.

Our experience at MacCallum House was phenomenal! The food was delicious and the staff was so helpful and knowledgeable about the menu and wine pairings. My husband and I had a long day of travel and this was the perfect first meal in Mendocino. We will definitely be back.
