The krō bär is an eclectic bar with a speakeasy vibe and a passion for spirits and great food with a nod to another era. Tucked away on Main Street in Bothell, a walkable neighborhood teaming with local art, culture and food, the artfully handcrafted krō bär has been reclaimed from the bones of Bothell’s historic hardware store in the Mohn building. The 16-foot-high tin ceilings, a hanging catwalk and the original wood floors were uncovered and restored.     We had a quiet Wednesday lunch here. What was good ... An intriguingly curated cocktail menu - we wanted to try them all! The best fries we have ever had - seriously! Worth the visit just to try them. My wife had an outstandingly good Wagyu beef burger. Service was excellent - Jorge is a star! Ambience - it's an airy open restaurant in the lodge and of course in a beautiful setting. What was moderate ... I had a a cauliflower steak with mushrooms and a cauliflower / mushroom puree. It was good, but just a little bland. I'd have liked a dash of something sharp / spicy to add some lift, but then I do like a kick in my lunch. Nevertheless it was good and nicely prepared and presented. And nothing bad at all. An excellent lunch and good value too. Definitely going again, but I may watch the menu for changes in the vegetarian option.

    Wonderful server, and front desk greeter. Others who helped serve (water and cocktails) also very friendly and helpful. Great dining experience, not rushed, so time to enjoy the meal, drinks and our dining companions.

    This was a family dinner out for my daughter's 21st birthday. I've visited BPH many times in the past for many different occasions, but this was an especially great experience. Thank you for making it a very special evening.
