We had excellent service and the food was incredible.

One of my favourite places, we come here quite a little….we didn’t get offered any water throughout our cost, usually there is a job of water on the table. Staff never asked us if we would like any more drinks, we had to ask. We were a group of ladies and if we were asked for more drinks then we would definitely have stayed. The lounge where you have a pre drink is extremely quiet and a bit old fashioned, it would’ve been nice to have some music playing in the background to add to the atmosphere.

We were given a table which was not ideal at all. There was two of us and the stable was a small 2 seater bench table agains a dividing wall. We were right on the main walk way coming into the pub. We asked if we could move as we saw a few tables that were empty. They said they couldn’t as they were booked. We ordered the meat shared plus 3 bar snacks and it was impossible to fit it on our table. We had to stack things on a ledge along with our drinks. Spoilt it for us as the food was lovely and really good value for money but the table was not ideal at all. Whilst trying to eat our food and have a conversation there were people queuing for the bar right next to us and then other people coming in were knocking us as they were ere trying to get past
